PSYCHICAL
Children develop a strong understanding of coordination and balance skills that are needed not only in martial arts but are also useful in life.

Children develop strength in their bodies by learning what good foods are and how to exercises to develop muscles.

Learning what strangers are, and how to deal with getting lost or if someone they do not know approaches them - skills that teach Stranger Danger are taught monthly in classes. Bullies are a growing problem in school - when to fight and when to run. These questions are answered in classes.

 MENTAL
Children are allows to spend their energy in a healthy productive way. Students learn the importance and value of patience and taking turns.

Respect is learned by leadership of the instructors first. It’s very important to give respect to our lil’ warriors so they can learn how to give respect themselves. Nice words like ‘thank you’ and ‘ you’re welcome’ show gratitude and is basic phrases heard in classes.

Concentration is taught through drills and games during classes. Following the rules and enjoying the outcomes of those drill create good habits.

SOCIAL
Children learn how to play with others and respect others.

By listening and following directions, children develop concentration and focus for home and school use.

Fun – with fun being the base of each class it makes students WANT to come to classes. Looking forward to classes with laughs and smiles makes a student want to learn and develop in a positive way – so much so it’s addictive for parents. Feeling good about one’s self is very important to a positive learning environment.

Aim High’s Lil’ Warriors gain the knowledge needed to be able to make good decisions for themselves, family and people surrounding them. This is proven with higher grades in school, and excelling in other sports, and group activities. This program that has a proven track recorded has been developed for Aim High by it’s instructors with over 60,000 hours of instruction time. All this while having fun with their peers at the same time.

The martial arts that are taught beyond the mental learning includes Tae Kwon Do, Muay Thai Kickboxing and a gymnastic blend. Warriors learn basic movements and techniques from each discipline and use them in drills and games.

Aim High has an open floor policy allowing for student to participate in classes when it convenient for mommy or daddy to bring them. This sometimes grows our classes to a pretty big ratio. Aim High always has an instructor ready to jump in and break the Warriors into smaller groups to bring out the best in each student.

Aim High has a full background check on all instructors including 1st aid and CPR qualifications. Never fear about the instructor teaching your child.

Positive mental health develops positive psychical health and makes a well round human. Off the mat and into the world is the idea with our Warriors. Studies are available at the front desk by the International Journal of Contemporary Family Therapy, the Journal of Applied Developmental Psychology and testimonies from our students to prove what we are saying.
