Tae Kwon Do
Involves traditional punches, kicks and
forms. Tae Kwon Do also builds character, self- discipline and
focus. This is a very popular art that was developed in Korea over
1,000 years ago. It has since developed a lot of popularity and
interest in our community.
Combining quick movements by kicking
and striking it also formulates a very interesting muscle memory
defense called forms, linking movements together as a part of a set
pattern.
Muay Thai
Also known as Kickboxing, this art incorporates
the most effective and practical hand, knee, elbow and foot
techniques along with an intense cardio workout. Muay Thai enables
you to defend yourself in stand up situations before someone gets
close enough to grab you.
This art, originally
formed in Thailand, is similar to western boxing, however, Thai
kickboxing is unique in the way it approaches close quarter
fighting. using a method known as the eight limbs, meaning 2
